How the decision is made
- Review the application and supporting evidence.
- Assess the property and hear from its operational management.
- Examine the assessment report and decide whether to award the distinction.
Governance
The published regulations describe the appointment of the chair by the label director, voting procedures and conflicts of interest. Training and coaching are separate services; purchasing them does not guarantee a distinction.
