PALACE@sea application guide

Start with a short discussion about your yacht. Confirm eligibility and arrangements before preparing a full application.

1. Introduce the property

Share your role, the broad location and your objective. You can begin without sharing ownership records, guest information, budgets or a complete dossier.

2. Confirm the applicable requirements

Before proceeding, establish the criteria and document versions for your yacht, the proposed assessors, visit duration, team involvement, costs and confidentiality arrangements. The distinction decision is separate from any optional diagnostic or coaching service.

3. Assemble the agreed application

  • Property identity and authorised management contact.
  • Relevant activity and performance for the latest two completed years, clearly identifying the reporting periods.
  • Recent refurbishments, investments and service improvements.
  • Evidence against the applicable design, service, cuisine, team and sustainability criteria.
  • The agreed visit arrangements and supporting documents requested for your application.

Prepare sensitive supporting records only after agreeing what is required and how it will be shared.

Reference documents

The existing PDF is retained as a reference to the published application framework. It contains historical wording and dates. It is not a newly issued application form or a confirmed proposal for your property.

The yacht form includes fixed historical activity years and describes at least one 25 m² cabin; the generic regulations refer to two. Resolve the applicable requirement in writing before preparing a submission.
